I’m a fourth generation Veteran. I spent my childhood moving from one duty station to the next. I joined the Army as an Animal Care Specialist and retired after 21 years of service. I had the privilege to serve our country by taking care of government owned animals such as Military Working Dogs, Horses, Research Animals, and personally owned pets of service members. I have worked with some of the best Veterinarians in the Army. I have worked in two emergency clinics after retirement and one General Practice Clinic. We moved to Floyd to provide a better environment for our son and enjoy small town life. Dr. Helen Evans and I started this Practice to provide a much needed service to our great community. I took on the role of Practice Manager so that I can pass on the knowledge and training I have received over the years. Professionally I enjoy seeing the smiles that pets bring to their owners faces and the sense of accomplishment after a hard days work. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, working on projects, and spending time with my family.
