Hi, I’m Abby! You might know me as your neighborhood photographer, which is my greatest passion, but before I ever picked up a camera – I was a full time dog groomer for 5 years! Standard poodles are a favorite of mine, and they made me love the art of grooming immediately. Now I have my own St. Poodle, Kahlua, and I have to say they are just the best breed! That’s what I love about grooming though, getting to meet a variety of breeds. Connecting with each dog is so very important to me, I take pride in always striving to create a calm and loving experience for each pet that comes in. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, growing up on a farm where I was always hanging out with one. Now I live on a mini farm (actually it’s just chickens and I love them more than a normal person should) with my pack of dogs and a couple cats. When I’m not photographing families or your grooming pups, you can find me knee deep in my flower garden, a fantasy book, or a thrift store! I love to travel and have been all over the world – though 90% of the time I rather spend my days at home outside rotting in the sun reading a book while my husband and two kids run amok.
