I grew up on a small farm in Western New York and received my Bachelors’ Degree in Animal Science from Cornell University. I graduated with “highest honors” from Ross University in 2008. I practiced Veterinary Medicine in Arizona for 11 years and worked for a veterinary dental specialist for 3 of those years. I left Arizona to return to the lush green of the East coast in 2019 and opened up Whisker & Tails Floyd Veterinary Hospital in 2024. My professional interests include dentistry, surgery and parasitology, but I’m excited to see what new things come through the door each and every day. Outside of work, I love honey bees and chickens, hiking, reading, and yarn craft.
